Santa's Sleigh is still coming to town
But it's going to be a little different this year!
See how we are making Santa's visit safe.
2020 has certainly been a challenging year for everyone. Despite this, the Rotary Club of Chesham is delighted to announce that Santa's Sleigh will be visiting Chesham during the festive period to give our younger (and older) residents something to look forward to and continue this annual tradition.
However, understandably this year will be a little different:
- Volunteers will NOT knock on your door with their collecting buckets. Therefore, if you would like to make a donation to the various charities we support, please see the "How You Can Donate" section of this leaflet
- The sleigh will not be able to access all the streets of Chesham especially the more narrow ones • Feel free to wave to Santa as the Sleigh passes by but please do stay within your property boundary - gardens, front doors, windows
- Santa will not be handing out sweets to children this year but has donated these to Chiltern Foodbank
- Santa will remain on the Sleigh and will not be able to walk to houses set back from the main roads.
If you do miss Santa's Sleigh on the way around Chesham, then please do come and wave when the Sleigh is positioned in the Broadway, Chesham on Wednesdays and Saturdays - see the Santa's Sleigh Schedule.
