Young Writer

Developing writing talents in young people

Young Writer Logo

There are young people who have, or have the ability to develop, a writing talent and Rotary promotes writing and its development through the  Young Writer competition.

A theme is published annually and the competition starts at club level, winners progress to district events and, ultimately, a national final; the winning work is published in Rotary magazines and on the Rotary GB&I website. The quality of work submitted has been outstanding.

The competition aims to encourage young people to:

  • Use their writing skills
  • Write with imagination and creativity

If you want to be involved with Rotary and contribute to our very worthwhile causes and programmes as well as providing much needed support, please contact:
