Our good friend Jane Walker's Purple Community Fund has just sent the following report:
Typhoon Ulysses has left a trail of destruction behind. Roofs destroyed and where most houses have wooden walls they have collapsed by absorbing so much rainwater.
Outside our office in Tondo the community we serve is flooded, electric and water cut off.
Our team on the ground have worked since first light to get emergency some emergency supplies and support to those families.
We asked for help for Typhoon Rolly and if anyone can donate again to help rebuild homes it is urgently needed.
Jane has just sent us the PCF's November Emergency Relief Report which demonstrates all too clearly and graphically just how serious the situation is in the Philippines and how much support is urgently needed to help the people there survive and hopefully return to a normal life sometime soon. See for yourself how hard the PCF team is working to provide essential services and supplies - then PLEASE HELP THEM. They deserve our support.
