Fun and Games for hospital patients
Since January the Rotary Club of King’s Lynn has provided 12 boxes of games and drawing materials for use by patients in various wards at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Initially four boxes, which contain playing cards, dominoes, colouring pens, colouring books and jigsaws, were provided. In February and again in March more boxes were requested. Covid restrictions mean that materials such as these have to be cleaned regularly and so are not available for immediate re-use; hence the need for several sets. The items in the boxes have proved to be very popular with both the patients and staff.
