Matlock Rotary Club Provides Christmas Hampers

Matlock Rotary Club, in conjunction with Age UK and Friends of Hurst Farm, has provided 16 Christmas hampers to people in the Matlock area.

Food for the hampers was bought at Matlock Sainsbury’s, who kindly reduced the bill by £50.

The hampers were distributed by Rotarians John Bent and Peter Wigglesworth to local people in need in the Matlock area as a gesture of goodwill in these difficult times.

The President of Matlock Rotary Club, Tom Moloney said “This is something we have done every year, for many years, and we are pleased to be able to continue with the tradition, adhering to Covid 19 guidance.”
