Young Writer Competition 2021

Presentations to pupils of Devoran School and Richard Lander School are shown here. There will be further presentations after Easter.

Richard Lingham the organizer of the local schools submissions on behalf of the Club writes...  ‘This year’s competition has been particularly rewarding, having attracted 111 entries across the age groups.  Those essays and poems reflect high standards of composition and quite clearly the subject “My Happiest Day” has stirred imagination and descriptive skills at a time when so many children have been cooped up at home.  We hope that our three excellent local prize winners will achieve further success at Rotary District and National levels of the competition.’

Please see the "Related Pages" for the Devoran and Richard Lander submissions, winners and the judges' views. Further presentations to winners at other schools will be made and shown here shortly - Truro Prep. School, Truro High School Prep. School and Penair School.
