Health Secretary sends his thanks

Matt Hancock sings the praises of local volunteers

Members of the Rotary Clubs of Furness, Furness Peninsula, and Barrow-in-Furness plus other helpers have given their time to help out with 50,000 vaccines at Barrow's Alfred Barrow Health Centre. It's estimated that this effort has taken over 4800 volunteer hours.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock has acknowledged this help in a letter to local MP Simon Fell.
