Archery Night

We're off to do some archery...  The location is the Sports Club in Western Ave, Daventry (i.e. Rugby Club/Indoor Bowls etc).  Please turn left on entering the site and park at the end near Reach For Health.  The archery club meet on the edge of the rugby fields – you will see the targets set up.

 We need to arrive for 5:30pm and will then have a safety briefing at 5:45 followed by teaching sessions in small groups, and finally a competition taking us to @ 7:45.  The early start is because of the light towards the end of the evening, apologies to the workers if you have to finish early to get there.

SAFETY – please wear stout shoes (no open toes), no baggy tops, long hair tied back and body piercings removed (you know who we are talking about!).  Dress for the weather, it will still be going ahead if its raining (probably not if there is a torrential downpour!).

After this we will be able to go for a drink in the sports centre clubhouse and I am arranging for pizzas to be delivered for around 8pm.

Steve will need numbers for this, together with your pizza orders as soon as possible, and no later than next Monday 13th please.  This is so the club can organise a number of their members to lead each group, and so Steve can order and pay for the pizzas up front.  Please see the email for details of the pizza.  

The archery is costing £10 per person and the pizzas about £8 – so not too expensive for something a bit different.
