Grace Orphanage Water Supply

Together with the King's Lynn and Trinity Rotary Clubs and a District Grant we have funded the provision of a clean water supply for the Grace Orphanage in Kathmandu

OUr contact with the Grace Orphanage was established through Rotarian John Harrison who has a long-standing involvement which he developed through climbing expeditions to the Himalayas.

The orphanage provides a safe home for some of the most deprived children in the world. Children who have ben abandoned by their parents or orphaned and would otherwise be living on the streets.  They are provided with food, clothing, education, medical care, friendship and love etc; in short a home.

The borehole has been sunk to a depth of 140ft at a cost of £3000.  £500 from each of the King's Lynn Rotary Clubs and £1500 from a District Grant.
