Business items:                 Andrew to members that the board meeting earlier this week had discussed sending a substantial donation to support those countries who are offering shelter and humanitarian relief to refugees fleeing the fighting in Ukraine.  The board has determined that the best way to do this is to send money to the Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) who act as an umbrella organisation for a number of relief agencies.  The board proposes that we send an immediate donation of £1,000.  This was voted on by the members present, and agreed unanimously.  Spyros and Pippa said that they would like to add a personal donation of £300 to the club sum, which was applauded by members present.  David M added that Diane Coupland had given a cash donation of £300 from the ukulele club run by her and Dave.

Andrew and David M confirmed arrangements for the volunteers coming to Walk4Water on Friday 25th March.  It was confirmed that parking vouchers would be available for volunteers.  Hilary is in the process of booking lunch for volunteers after the walk.  (Since the meeting Hilary has confirmed that lunch is booked at the Royal Oak @ Blean, cost £13.00)
