We are delighted to report that NAD Grill Helping Others has been awarded the Nottinghamshire Live Hero's 2021 Award sponsored by Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
Owners of the takeaway in Carrington have been working tirelessly throughout our national lockdowns and restrictions to help their local community. Nad and Roxy Shahzad, who are the owners of family business Nad Grill, along with their team and with the support of Rotary 4 Food Banks, have responded to their community’s urgent need for support during Covid. They provide essential items, food parcels and care packages for individuals and families, support key workers and assist individuals and families who are struggling when they are being rehoused from shelters, hostels or refuges. They offer emotional support and provide links to other organisations that can help.
Pictured is Nad Shahzad with the Rotary Club of Nottingham’s Nik Brooks and the award.
Congratulations NAD Grill!
