New Rotary President

The new President of the Rotary Club of King’s Lynn is Dorothy Pulsford-Harris.  Before retiring in 2012 Dorothy was a practising barrister who worked both in private chambers and as a public prosecutor.  She has been involved in Rotary for many years.  In 2005 she joined Swaffham Rotary Club, its first lady member, and in 2010-11 was its first lady President.  Dorothy has also taken on various roles at District level in East Anglia and in 2015-16 was District Governor.  She transferred from Swaffham to the Rotary Club of King’s Lynn in 2018.

Outside Rotary Dorothy is also very active.  She was secretary of the Macmillan Support Committee for five years until it was dissolved in 2020, Chairman of the North Wootton Parish Council from 2001 to 2019 and is currently the President of the Amner WI.  She is also a Trustee of several local charities.

At a dinner held at Middleton Golf Club on Monday 26 July Dorothy was presented with the Rotary Club chain of office by the Immediate Past President, Michael Walker.
