·         Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

·         Maternal and Child Health

·         Basic Education and Literacy

·         Community Economic Development

·         Environment

Application Process

Young people and groups who wish to be considered for participation are asked to register at https://bit.ly/SeedsOfSocialAction . The Rotaract eClub of Great Britain and Ireland will maintain a register of applicants and pass on information of those interested to the relevant Rotary Club.

Selection criteria for applicants

The club will consider the following aspects.

·     Does the project meet a real need?
·     Is there a clear plan of action?
·     Is it an effective project with measured outcomes?  
·     Is it led by young people
·     Does it fit the themes defined by the Rotary club?
·     Sustainability – how will the project continue after the end of funding
·     Can it be replicated?·         
·       Is there an impact on the community by bringing change?
·       Do the young people experience personal development? 
·       Are there other funding sources in place?
