Heywood 2020 hosted an International Evening, on 2nd November 2021, which saw representatives from Aquabox and Project Harar.
Heywood 2020 hosted an International Evening on 2nd November 2021, which brought together lots of Clubs from our District to learn all aboutt he wonderful charity work Aquabox and Project Harar is doing abroad.
Rotary supported Aquabox held a demonstartion on how the water is purified to drink after going through their filter by Barrie Coates. Prof Mark McGurk and CEO Jackie Riley from Project Harar spoke of the work they do in Africa.
Heywood 2020 welcomed Rotarians from Rochdale, Rochdale East, Bury and Bolton Clubs along with DG in training Rtn Swati Mukherjee and ADG John Shepley.
We really hope to inspire some of the clubs attending to work with us and do some great things in the future for these two charities.
