Sleigh Thanks

A record £8,657 raised for Charities from the sleigh 2021

Club members please log in for more information.

On behalf of the members of the Rotary Club of Kinver we would like to thank most sincerely all the residents of Kinver, Enville and  those parts of Wollaston and Wall Heath that we take our Christmas sleigh for the magnificent generosity they showed to our collectors this year.

Having had to cancel last year’s tour, we were concerned that resuming the collection in another difficult pre-Christmas period might have adverse effects on the donations we would receive for local charities.  We need not have worried.  A record £8,657 was put into our collection tins, so “Thank You” everybody.

We also offer our grateful thanks to the army of volunteers who came forward to assist the club in the actual collections.  Without their input we would not have been able to take the sleigh anywhere.

David Goring and Arvind Sharma, joint Presidents of Kinver Rotary Club 2021/22.
