Tree Planting in Close Park


On Thursday 20th January 7 members of Radcliffe Rotary Club planted about 100 tree saplings in Close Park Radcliffe and on Thursday 27th January they will plant about another 50 in Bolton road park. The trees included, Wild Cherry, Elders, Rowan and Crab Apple. These tree will form part of the Queens Canopy, a project that will see thousands of trees planted across the UK celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee (70 years) on the throne this year.
