Rotary 1090 District Conference in Oxford

An exciting conference spread over three days with a wonderful and varied line-up of speakers tackling a number of topical subjects


 

 

It has been two years since Rotarians in the Thames Valley have been able to get together for a conference, listen to some inspirational speakers, catch with old friends, make new friends, be inspired and above all, have fun.

The Oxford District 1090 Conference ended with a gala dinner in the spectacular Keble College. In addition, over £3,000 was raised today to support the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis. Rotarians, People of Action 

Congratulations to our club member Philip Highy for his award for all his work to help people during the pandemic! A thoroughly deserved recognition!

A wonderful and varied line-up of speakers including Oxford Vice-Chancellor, Louise Richardson, Captain Tom’s daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore, and Dame Professor Sarah Gilbert, who led the team which designed the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine.
