Rotary helping Ukraine

Club lends a hand


Members of the Rotary Club of Furness were delighted to be able to help with a concert at St. Mary's Church at Duke Street.
It was given by the Barrow Male Voice Choir in aid of Ukraine.
As well as featung the choir there were appearances from the Ghyll Singers and Dalton Town Band.
A great evening of music and singing!
The Rotary Club of Furness helped with catering and the raffle. £1800 was raised.

The Rotary Club of Furness also recently sent a cash donation of £500 to assist Ukranians affected by the current conflict.

The donation will be administered by the Rotary Club of Lviv International which is buying medicines and basic supplies with partner clubs in Poland and Germany.

These items will be sent to areas of need.
