Colin Powell fell ill with polio in 1949 when just 6 months old.

In 2009, Colin joined Radlett Rotary Club and is now a Purple4Polio Ambassador with the British Polio Fellowship. His dual role places Colin in a unique position to ensure complete harmony between Rotary and the British Polio Fellowship in the common goal to eradicate polio worldwide.
