Presentation of cheque from the Christmas collection to Discover U

Rotarian Graham Smith seen here presenting Steve Smith of Discover U, with a cheque for £250 from the proceeds of the sleigh collection in December 2021. Thanks to the huge generosity of the public, the Rotary Club of Kinver raised over £8600 which it is in the course of distributing to a number of local charities and voluntary organisations. 

In recent years the club has made several donations to support Discover U, a charity based in Bridgnorth Road Wollaston which has a tea room and workshop. The charity's aim is to provide work related experience to adults with some level of learning disability or others similarly disadvantaged because of physical disability Discover U - Tea Room at the Old Bakery
