An Amazing £5,000 Raised for Ukraine

On a cold and rainy Saturday in March this year the King’s Lynn public donated an eye watering £5,000 for the refugees escaping the horrors of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. 

Many have said that the old fashioned method of bucket shaking is out of date and consigned to the past as a means of raising money but this proves that view wrong. 

If the cause is right and is one that captures the imagination of the British public, they give and they give BIG. 

Priory President,”some people were throwing five and ten pound notes in as well as small change, such was the strong feeling of the need to support the Ukrainians at their crucial time of need. Well done indeed the shopping public of King’s Lynn and well done to the Priory bucket shakers.
