Presentation of Funds To Local Charities


During January and February, we have distributed significant sums of money to local charities, the proceeds of The Charity Golf Tournament in September which yielded £4.800, a very pleasing sum was made available along with the proceeds of the public collection through The Wishing Well.

Distributions were made to: 

The Eden Valley Hospice & Jigsaw (£1,650)

The Life Education Charity (£1,650)

The Carlisle Food Bank (£1,650)


Additionally donations have been made to:

The Royal British Legion (£150)

The Cumbrian Community Foundation (£500)

The Carlisle Youth Zone (£150)

The Tonga Earthquake Emergency Fund (£250) 

The Relief Fund for Afghanistan (£250).
