47th Club Charter

Thu, May 5th 2022 at 7:30 pm - 11:30 pm

A successful evening with representatives from District, Ely Rotary, Newmarket Rotary, Littleport Rotary and partners , guests, volunteers and supporters

Taking place in Soham Town Rangers Football Club, President Neil was joined on the top table by DG Ian Elliott and his wife, Littleport President, Ian Burrows and his wife, Neils guests and speaker John Vigar.

On arrival, guest were greeted by the gentle crooning of local celebrity, Michael Anthony.

Following the well presented meal and a few formalities recognising visotors and guests, we were treated to a talk by John Vigar on the burial places of some rather unusual historical characters, his humourous delivery and knowledge was very much appreciate by his audiance.

The hugely popular raffle generated over £400 as it was drawn towards the end of the evening.

Thanks must go to SVP Peter Holmes for pulling the event together, the caterers, Houghtons and Soham Football Club staff for their help on the night.
