Chiltern Foodbank at Prestwood

Prestwood Foodbank

Chiltern Foodbank has a dedicated Distribution Centre in Prestwood to support clients in Prestwood and Great Missenden who require food support. Using a network of referral partners, clients can request a food voucher for 3 days of emergency dried and tinned food for themselves and their family. Referral vouchers come through to us at the Centre located at Holy Trinity, Prestwood. Here, clients are invited to come and collect their boxes on a Wednesday when the Centre is open, or we can arrange for our driving team to deliver the food box to the clients at home. The Centre operates Monday-Friday, and is run by a team of volunteers, coordinated by Fran McLean, the Families Worker at Holy Trinity, Prestwood. Recently the Rotary Club of Great Missenden have very kindly donated funds for the purchase of a printer, paper and ink cartridges for the Distribution Centre, and a kickstool to reach the higher shelves in the Centre's storeroom. Both the printer and the kickstool have instantly made a huge difference to the smooth running of the Distribution Centre and we are so grateful for your support. If anyone would be interested in finding out more about the Prestwood Distribution Centre of the Chiltern Foodbank, please do contact Fran McLean on families@htprestwood.org.uk.
