The Duck Race

For the first time since 2019 we were able to organised the Duck Race in the Whitchurch Brook alongside Merthyr Road. This was part of the Whitchurch Festival. An enthusiastic crowd witnessed a thrilling finish with several of the leading ducks getting stuck behind stones and being overtaken. 342 ducks were sold at £2 each making around £650 for our Rotary Charities after prizes and post costs are taken into account. There were three prizes of £20, £10 and £5.
