District Handover

Sun, Jul 10th 2022 at 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Two of our own take up high office within District.

Our Club, which marks its centenary in 2023, is celebrating a double coup as two of its members have been appointed to high offices in Rotary District 1120 covering Rotary Clubs in Kent and East Sussex.

Both Bexhill Rotarians are past presidents of the club, with Reverend Paul Frostick now District Governor and Graham Forster appointed as Assistant District Governor.

The Handover ceremony for Paul and Graham from last year’s District officers took place in early July at St. Mildred’s Church in Tenterden.  After the formalities had been completed, the 128 strong party from Rotary Clubs throughout District 1120 boarded a train at Tenterden Town station on the Kent and East Sussex Railway and were treated to a tasty ploughman’s meal on their enjoyable trip to Northiam and back at what turned out to be a hot and sunny day.
