Swimathon - 20th November 2022

Sun, Nov 20th 2022 at 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Swimathon returned to the Abergavenny Leisure Centre after a gap of three years due to Covid.

Teams compete to see how many lengths they can swim in one hour.

The Abergavenny Rotary Club ran the annual Swimathon again at the Abergavenny Leisure Centre on Sunday 20th November 2022 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm after a gap of three years due to Covid. The idea is that schools, clubs and societies in and around Abergavenny enter teams to swim lengths of the pool in lanes over an hour to raise money through sponsorship from friends and family members.

We received the following feedback from two participating Clubs.

Just wanted to say thank you to the Rotary Club for organising and running the Swimathon yesterday. All of our swimmers really enjoyed it (even the parents!). It's been a great fundraising activity for the club, sign us up for next year please!
All the best
