ROTARY / UKRAINIAN FUND UPDATE

Due to the very generous nature of the Rotary Club of Northampton Becket, Northampton Community Sheds and a successful Rotary District Grant application we have been able to assist a number of Ukrainian Refugee families in the  Northamptonshire area. These have primarily been co-ordinated through the Rev. Adrian Morton, who is the Vicar at St Marys Bozeat and Wollaston.

The money so far has been spent on purchases associated with and donations associated with bikes to allow them to travel to and from work and for job interviews. A photograph of this is as below.

There are also numerous items been purchased to do with hygiene products, travel tickets, trainers amongst other things, see photographs below.

I can assure everybody that these generous donations have been extremely well received by a very grateful Ukrainian Refugee group in the Northamptonshire area.

Below are a couple of extra photographs where the joy on the recipients’ faces is clear to see. As emphasised before these Refugees arrive with very little money and possessions therefore are extremely appreciative of any help that we are currently providing.
