Rotary North East District Conference at The Hilton Newcastle-Gateshead
DISTRICT CONFERENCE 2022
SATURDAY 1ST OCTOBER 2022
This year our District Conference was a one-day event at The Hilton Hotel in Gateshead on the banks of the River Tyne and overlooking the Tyne Bridge. The conference committee again put together an informative programme and in addition to the inspirational Keynote Speakers we had:
• Our own 'Rotary Question Time' focusing on the theme of 'Rotary's Future in the North East and beyond'
• 'Round Table discussions on a theme of 'What Can District 1030 Do?"
A 'Rotary Showcase' allowed delegates to learn more about some of the many projects that clubs throughout the District are involved in.

Members of Durham Elvet Rotary Club braved the elements - sleet and rain - to watch a semi final cup match between Brandon United U18 and Benfield U18. Unfortunately, Brandon United lost 1 - 3.
