It’s a Family Affair!!! 100% Kenilworth.
Organised by the Kenilworth Rotary Club, the Kenilworth Advent Calendar is designed by Abstract Designs, of Princes Drive and printed by Emmerson Press, of Farmer Ward Road. The website is designed by LoudLocal of Queens Road, the 120 prizes have been donated by businesses all over Town and all the money will go to Kenilworth causes. On top of which, we’ve now discovered the lovely photograph of the Castle which forms the face of the Calendar, was taken by Kenilworth’s very own local photographer, Gill Allcock, who has lived in the Town for over 43 years. When she first saw it, Gill said: “I’m thrilled that my photo has been chosen. I do hope lots of money can be raised from its sale to benefit so many charities.”
For those not acquainted with this project, Rotary aims to sell over 3000 Calendars at £5 apiece in the run-up to Advent. Every Calendar carries its own, unique index number and each day during Advent we’ll pick 5 Calendars at random to win the 5 prizes listed behind the “door” for that day – prizes from tickets to Wasps games to free jewellery and furniture. It’s a Advent Calendar for grown-ups!
