Reading Buddies

Improve our Childrens’ Future. Can you spare one hour a week, and listen to children read at Dartmouth Academy?

We need volunteer “reading buddies” to help develop confidence and reading ability. Rotary has been supporting this successful initiative for years, and we are gradually expanding to community volunteers.

Help our children recover from damaging lockdowns, and hindered development. They deserve all our support.This is a term-time weekly routine, and more information will follow.

back Our club members pool their resources to aid local clubs and organisations, from sports clubs to community-based support groups, like Dartmouth Caring and the local Food Bank, as well as larger groups like Shelterbox, and the Devon Air Ambulance etc.
