Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a leadership experience organised by Rotary clubs and districts where young people are able to build their communication and problem-solving abilities and develop their leadership skills - all whilst having fun and making new, long-lasting friendships.
After an enforced break due to Covid, Rotary North East saw the return of this popular programme when RYLA was held in the first week of August based at the Wilderness Outdoor Education Centre, Upper-Teesdale.
Today saw the presentation evening during which the candidates received their certificates. Included was Cameron Redhead who was sponsored by Durham Elvet Rotary
