The Interact Club of Mounts Bay Academy

Interact is a great way for young people to get involved in supporting communities both here and overseas, and to learn useful skills like organising fund-raising, conducting meetings and so on.

Mounts Bay Academy Interact Club is an amazing organisation and we are so proud to sponsor them! This year they received their charter and raised funds for Reverse Retts, Penhaligon’s Friends, and for a special wheelchair for one of the incoming students who will start with the school in September. Del James, President of Mounts Bay Rotary is photographed here with this year’s and next year’s Presidents of the Interact Club.

This is the second Interact Club in Penzance (the first one is Humphry Davy School Interact Club), both of which have been set up and supported by Mounts Bay Rotary. Community is at the heart of our service.

We had a great day at Mounts Bay Interact Club in April 2023 when, at last, we were able to present the Club with their Charter. President Del James from the Rotary Club is seen here presenting the charter to the Interact Club. This is the second Interact Club we have set up in the Penzance area, and both clubs are doing amazing things in their community, as well as helping projectes overseas.
