Slow Cookers for Newquay Foodbank

Newquay Rotary Club donate Slow Cookers to be distributed by Newquay Foodbank

Slow Cookers

The President of the Rotary Club of Newquay, Nick Barnes presented Newquay Food Bank with slow cookers that would be issued out to those using the Food Bank on a case by case basis.

The aim of the slow cookers was to reduce fuel poverty and ensure that individuals and families could cook a hot meal and not worry about fuel cost.

The Rotary Club of Newquay has worked very closely with Newquay Food Bank and will be helping them move into their new premises at St Michaels Church.

The slow cookers were purchased from Dimensions Newquay who very kindly ensured that the best possible price was obtained and also donated £50 towards the project.
