Walk a Mile to End Polio
Polio mainly affects children under age 5.
There is no cure, but polio is preventable with a vaccine.
We’ve reduced cases by 99.9% since 1988.
Only two countries remain endemic.
Until we end polio forever, every child is at risk
Unless we eradicate polio, it is predicted that within 10 years, there could be as many as 200,000 new cases each year.

Walk a Mile to End Polio is a simple way we can mark World Polio Day.
All you need to do is grab your trainers or walking boots, head out alone or in groups, and walk a mile!

Monday 24 at 10:00am from Moonfleet Manor Hotel to Rodden Hive and back. Its flat.
The full walk is just under 4 miles. Walk half a mile to Herbury Island and then back makes it a full mile!.
