RYLA presentation

The club sponsored three participants for the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) course held at the Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre in the summer. During the week participants tackled activities ranging from caving to raft building and gained valuable experience in leadership and team building as well as making new friends. The picture below shows Neel Bhatia (Cathedral School), Nia Jenkins (Whitchurch High School) and Rhys Smart (Howell’s School) being presented with their awards by Richard Cunningham (Youth Service Chair) at the breakfast meeting of the club on October 5^th. We were pleased to welcome teachers and parents to the breakfast.
