Chailey Heritage Foundation provides education and care services and is one of the UK’s leading centres for children and young people with complex neurodisabilities.

Chailey Heritage Foundation provides education and care services and is one of the UK’s leading centres for children and young people with complex neurodisabilities.

Most of the young people accessing their services have severe cerebral palsy, many have visual and/or other sensory impairments. All are wheelchair users and very few have verbal communication.

Their expertise is in maximising independence and choice, developing effective communication and providing powered mobility opportunities.

Founded in 1903 by Grace Kimmins, they still embrace her ethos today. They believe that each child and young person should have every opportunity to fulfil their potential, no matter what the challenges.
