Kenilworth Rotary is delighted to announce that sales of our Advent Calendar are on-target to sell out the full print-run of 3000 units before our last planned date of sale on the 28th of November. In fact, we’ve sold over 1650 Calendars since taking delivery on October the 5th.

If you haven’t bought yours yet, either go to www.kenilworthadventcalendar.co.uk and use the Click&Collect function or the just-installed Click&Deliver option.  Or just visit one of our sales outlets or stalls around Kenilworth.  Then you might want to tell your customers about it.

We have a stall at the Abbey End market every Thursday, courtesy of CJ Events, we have a stand in Talisman Square most weekdays or, when the British Legion is not selling poppies in them, in local supermarkets.  We’ve just started selling in Leyes Lane, too.  We are very grateful to the management of Iceland, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose for allowing us to sell inside their premises, away from the cold and wet days typical of autumn.

We’re beginning to sell Calendars in Kenilworth’s pubs too and, given the good-natured reception we’ve received, it’s been fun.  We’ll be visiting more in the next few weeks.

Then there are Retirement Homes and the Talisman Theatre and Christmas Fairs and the Fireworks at the Castle and many other venues which provide selling opportunities.

Your generous sponsorships and prizes have made all this possible and I want you to know we, in Rotary, are doing everything we can think of to make the project a resounding success.

If you have any ideas that might help promote sales, or make the project more fun and less work, do please share them with us at kenilworthadventcalendar@kenilworthrotary.org.uk
