One thing all political parties agree on:  The Kenilworth Advent Calendar is a REALLY GOOD THING!

Local politicians of all persuasions are united in one opinion at least; that Rotary’s Kenilworth Advent Calendar is a very good thing for Kenilworth.

Sam Louden-Cooke, mayor of Kenilworth and a Lib Dem.

“A fantastically unique idea that captures Kenilworth’s community spirit.”

It’s all about our Town:  the design, the website, the printing, the prizes, the photo on the front cover, the photographer and, above all, the charities benefitting from the sale of these Calendars, are local entities.

Sir Jeremy Wright, MP for Kenilworth and Southam, Conservative.

“I’ve bought my Kenilworth Advent Calendar.  The money raised will support important local causes.”

With 120 prizes worth more than £5000 to be won over the 24 days of Advent, a selling price of £5 and only 3000 copies to be sold, you can see it as great value or just a bit of fun in the run-up to Christmas it’s all in a good cause.

James Kennedy, Leader of Kenilworth Town Council, Greens

“Happy to donate.  It’s a great idea.”

We hope to raise almost £15000 for local charities, who certainly need the extra support in this time of rapidly rising costs and falling real incomes.

Kenilworth Rotary invites everyone in Town with a fiver to spare to join in.  You can buy your Calendar on-line at www.kenilworthadventcalendar.co.uk  through Click&Collect or, for an extra delivery charge, via Click&Deliver with delivery to your door.

Or buy one at Abbey End Market, or at our stall that circulates between Talisman Square, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Tesco in Leyes Lane, or from Wiggies Barbers, the Kenilworth Centre, The Waverley Centre, the Tree House Bookshop, Kenilworth Books and The Engine Inn in Mill End.  They’re selling out fast!

Finally, a plug for the Club. Kenilworth Rotary is seeking volunteers who would enjoy working on this and other initiatives.  Individuals or businesses who would like to get involved should contact us at meetus@kenilworthrotary.org.uk
