Collecting funds in support of the work of The Salvation Army at Sanctuary 21 in Durham

Durham Elvet Rotarians were in the Tesco Metro store in Durham Market Place today collecting in support of Sanctuary 21 - The Salvation Army, Durham City Centre. Located in Saddler Street, Sanctuary 21 provides practical support to rough sleepers, homeless and other vulnerable people who present themselves with specific needs. This can include providing a free or discounted hot meal, clothing and shower facilities. A signposting system is also in place that seeks to help people get effective help from other local agencies.
