An illustrated talk from the construction of the bridge to John's involvement in the hugely challenging bridge restoration project from 2002 to 2012. Following completion of the project the bridge was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status.

During November club members turned their daily walks into a sponsored walk for a target distance of 40 miles, the distance between the Rotary clubs in Central Scotland area. Proceeds for disaster relief supplies for those in need further afield.

The hand cream was delivered to St John's Hospital, Maple Villa, St Michael's Hospital, Linlithgow Care Home, Bield Housing, Ark Housing, Care at Home and Medical Centre community staff . 'A little something' for our local NHS staff and care workers.

This very successful event raised £1,350 of which £350 goes to Children 1st and £1,000 to End Polio Now which the Gates Foundation increases to £3,000, making the total raised £3,350. Our thanks to the 50 participants, especially to the 36 guests.
