Scots Night

The Club's annual Scots Night with contributions from members and from guests.
Local Rotarians, their partners and friends enjoyed their annual Scots Night at Mansfield House Hotel. Organised by Iain Smith, a fine meal was enjoyed before the company enjoyed entertainment from singer Pat Douglas of Teviothead, with recitations from Iain Smith and Jim Walker, and a Scots Quiz set by Elsa Neilson. The mark of a good quiz is to have the members of a team disputing the answers between themselves. For example: which Scottish singer sang the theme song to the James Bond movie 'The Man with the Golden Gun'? Who wrote the 'Katie Morag' series of books?
