Donation made to Kids Inspire
Club members Katharine Mel and Mike presented a cheque for £980 as a donation to Kids Inspire
On 22nd February Katharine Mel and Mike from the team at Hadleigh Castle Rotary joined a large group of supporters of Essex based charity Kids Inspire for an afternoon tea at the Roslin Beach Hotel in Thorpe Bay.
We took the opportunity to present a cheque for £980 as a donation made from the funds which we raised over Christmas 2022. Recieving the cheque on behalf of Kids Inspire were Sue Bell (Chief Executive & Clinical Director) and Paula Ashfield (Head of Fundraising). Our successful Christmas season included our popular Santa's Grotto, collections at Morrisons in Hadleigh and our amazing sleigh runs around local streets when Santa and his helpers met so many local children and families. Through these activities and events we were able to raise a total of almost £3,800 which will be shared between a number of local charities and good causes.
