Rotarians are pictured collecting at the Tesco Bidston store, raising funds for Rotary partner disaster relief charity - ShelterBox, following the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

Our Club responds to international disasters and also has regular World-wide support networks, built up over many years.

Birkenhead Rotary Club commemorated its 90th year in 2018-19- by launching an appeal to purchase a minibus for Shaftesbury Youth Club. Together with Foundation support and other donations, the Club was able to present £14,000.

We continue support for Shaftesbury Youth Club and welcome matching grants via Rotary Foundation, Rotary's charity that we support annually.

We are currently running our Small Community Grants project. Grants up to £250 can be applied for, for organisations that have not previously benefitted from a grant.

We are involved in many projects to benefit the local community.

Our 2023 Winning Youth Speaks Competition Team from Birkenhead School

We have presented Youth Speaks competitions for many years. We support an Interact Club at Woodchurch High School and a Rotakids Club at Prenton Primary School.
