Discover the Artists 2023 - Artwork for sale

Here are some of the pictures which will be exhibited and then sold.


We already have a number of well-known artists taking part in our new art event, and here is a small selection of their artwork.

Please come to the Subscription Rooms in Stroud on Friday 25th August 10:00am until 4:00pm and/or the morning of Saturday 26th August 10:00am until 12:00pm to view the exhibition and draw up your wish list. Admission is FREE.

All works will be sold on a first-come first-served basis on the Saturday afternoon.

In 2018, after our previous Discover the Artist exhibition and sale, we funded an Art Therapy course for people with long term illness; it's still running after a Covid break. We funded an art course for Gloucestershire Young Carers, and provided the art materials for the young people to keep. We also funded exhibitions and community art projects, a website for an artist's project to support art during lockdown, graphics for a historical map in Nailsworth .... and much more. We plan to donate the proceeds from this art sale to help local art groups, and look forward to your support.

back Nailsworth Rotary Club arranges many fundraising events each year and the funds raised in recent years have helped a wide range of organisations.
