THANKS FRANK
*****************
It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of our honoury member Frank Thorley on the 22nd March 2023
Frank was a member of the Rotary Club of Thanet for several years, and was one of the major organisers behind the very successful Boxing Gala that the Club in collaboration with the Ramsgate Boxing Club held each year between 2005 and 2019.
Over the 14 years the event was held, a fantastic sum of nearly £450,000 was raised for local charities.
Frank was a true supporter of Thanet and over the years individually raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for a plethora of local charities.
It is a great loss for both our club and the local community. Our condolences go out to Ann and all the Thorley family.
