Stonehouse Rotary Club present a new seat for the residents of Frampton on Severn

The formal presentation

Many residents of Frampton will have noticed the new bench seat on the west side of the green.

The old one was well past it's prime and even beginning to be a potential hazard.

Stonehouse Rotary stepped in and offered to purchase a replacement, for the continued pleasure of Framptonians and visitors to the Green.

It was agreed that it should be dedicated jointly, to Tony Sommerville, in whose memory the original seat was dedicated and to the people of Frampton who have supported Rotary charities over the years.  The two plaques reflect this.

Small projects such as this are among the many things that Rotary Clubs do - as well as supporting and funding bigger local projects, and also funding international initiatives such as eliminating polio.

 worldwide.
