Corporate Community Opportunities

Are you a local business or community organisation looking to raise your profile and do good things in your community? Working as part of Rotary could really help.

Together We Transform

Being part of Rotary opens up the chance to build upon the good reputation your business or community organisation already enjoys, in many ways further enhancing your standing in the community and raising your profile. For example:

  • It can elevate the image of your business or organisation locally as a community partner in service and committed to corporate social responsibility and participation.
  • It demonstrates a commitment by you and your business to serving others as part of your corporate culture which workers will appreciate.
  • It offers people working within the organisation the chance to develop and apply leadership and professional skills such as project management, training, and public speaking.
  • It reduces the time commitment of any one member by allowing employees to become involved and attend meeting and events on behalf of you and your business.
  • It gives your business or community organisation the opportunity to access to Rotary’s global network of around 1.4 million volunteer members and the opportunity to network while travelling.

Historically, local Rotary Club membership consisted mainly of business owners and managers who used the opportunity to get together to network their businesses and give something back to the community they were part of. However, the way that business and community organisations operate today has changed dramatically over the last decade or so and has meant that the traditional ways of networking have adapted to modern ways of life.

Rotary is now a more flexible, diverse and inclusive organisation but still maintains its original ideals around serving the community through worthwhile projects and programs whilst maintaining the opportunity to network locally with other business and people within your community.

To be part of Rotary, and therefore part of such an influential organisation, is something that many people around the country find totally beneficial. They have the flexibility to manage the way they engage with Rotary in a manner that suits them best. We hope that you will be able to appreciate the goals and priorities set annually by us, and which are intended to be of benefit to people who live and work within Fakenham and its surrounding district. These goals and priorities can be significantly enhanced by your corporate involvement.
