Rotary Clubs in the region of Chatsworth presented the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire on 24 September 2001 with a Sculpture by Geoffrey Wax to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary. This was in recognition of their suppport of Rotary ideals. Andrew Cavendish, the late 11th Duke of Devonshire, was an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Buxton.
