Charity Showcase

An evening to promote local charities

Club members please log in for more information.

On Tuesday 29th of October the Rotary Club of Andover held a Charity Showcase evening at the Masonic Hall in Andover. The evening was attended by 10 local charities all of whom had the opportunity to promote themselves to all 91 present.

The Club’s Membership officer John Barlow gave an impassioned presentation to explain what Rotary is all about and the benefits of joining.

The main presentation was given by Martin Webster of Shelterbox. Many of those present commented what a real eye-opener in the evening was; not realising how many worthwhile charities are on our doorstep.

The evening was a great success and there is every intention to hold the event next year.
